Killing Machines

where do people get the courage to kill
to take the light from somebody's eyes
its the height of evil, a reflection of the devil
they can't be human, they must be monsters
carrying on with blood on their hands, rage in their eyes and hate in their hearts
how did they reach such inhumanity
where did they come from, what made them like killing machines
what stole their innocence
who took their love
what caused them so much despair
who made them so vicious and spiteful
is there anyway back from here, do we have any hope left at all in this increasingly dark world..
