Everything is empty and I can’t see the point
It’s like I’m in a pit, it’s so deep I can’t get back up
Your keeping me tied with chains

What kind of existence is this, my cage is stronger than steel

The spark.

A lie can be a couple of words it may not seem like much at the time, but one lie can destroy a life.
I always believe people were like lost souls till they found the true meaning of their lives.
Experiencing this everyday you can really see the difference when somebody is happy and when someone isn’t.
Always told myself no matter what happened in my life I would never be seen alive without that spark in my eyes, the spark that defines life
People with the spark posses an amazing persona, they radiate with life and happiness they are the true meaning of being alive.
I imagine these people illuminating between the rest if the crowd, their light dancing of others.
They keep the world going round, keep the hope alive, spreading the love making us smile, helping us live.

The rain

Rains falling on my skin it’s like acid touching my skin
All of me is so sensitive
Look how you’ve left me standing in the rain
Alone and cold in the darkness, deserted is this road
I hope its a dream and you’ll wake me
But nothings changing wont somebody pinch me..

Blame..

this restlessness I feel cant be healthy
it keeps on growing up until infinity
I fidget and itch to come to rest
yet this feeling is bound inside the root of me
been there all along its grown over the years
its like a disease nobody can see but me
I want a cure I want an answer
but how is that possible when there's nothing there to chase after
its making me mad, driving me insane
or is it just something to take the blame..

Water

water flows in shapeless form
morphing into to whatever shape it comes across
that's just like my love for you
its shapeless and endless, takes the form you like
yet you still feel it isn't enough
yet you still feel me drifting away
its killing me now I don't have any words to say
I thought I had it all right
guess it was all just in my head
I try to run to you but its like I hit a brick wall every time
I try to speak to you but its like you cant hear a sound
Wish someone had told me we got to this before it was too late..

I hear the words but I see no meaning
I hear the song but don’t feel the music
I see the couple but don’t see the love
I find the place but I don’t feel peace
I look at the painting but see no story
I hear a sigh but feel no relief
I’m on the earth and yet I don’t see a world..

The City

the city is buzzing and alive
yet the people are asleep and dry
the roads are jammed, yet the drivers are mad
the houses are full yet the families are sad
the kids are playing yet they often do not laugh
what is this place we have created, it lacks humanity and sanity
lets go back to how it was where everything was for a purpose and nothing was for show
where people meant something and weren't just something to fill the place up
where relationships with loved ones mattered more than your social status
when we realised what mattered and what was useless
when we put no judgements in our choices
when we seen everybody for the person they were and not through the colour of their skin
where respect was practised and not just a word we once used
where hatred and greed was very rare and not raging inside every man's stomach
lets go back to how it was, where everything was meaningful, peaceful and pure...

Wandering here and there
one place to another
you'll always find a house yet you keep on looking for a home
don't know what tomorrow will bring
you're a free soul, at one with your inner self yet you keep searching for more
your edge makes you exciting, your rawness is like a breath of fresh air
always speaking your mind, your strong personality shines through
one thing i know for sure is there'll never be another one just like you .. :)

people live according to goals
wanting to achieve one thing then the next
giving materialistic gain wayy too much thought
the days gonna come where you will just stop and realise you've wasted all that time
we have plans for every year we live, what we don't realise is how special we are to get more and more years
yet we still sit and moan about where we are headed and feel defeated when we don't get the job we wanted
many things are much more important in life
living with plans and goals and only for them is not a life you're just wasting it on making others happy, pleasing the people, trying to look good for them
when even you know deep down you are not content..

I see..

I lay in the dark
waiting for the reason, the answer to come to me
in a daze I can't sleep I close my eyes but my mind won't rest
so tired I can't stand, so tired I can't sleep
you saved me when you came and gave me the strength to survive
now I see through the eyes you've given me, everything seems different I see the world in a new way in a new light in a new hope and now I dare to dream.. :)

If you feel down and nobody seems to care
you feel defeated like no one hears a sound
just remember in times of hardship your worst enemy can be yourself
the way in which we perceive things has great power
the more you say this is bad and can only get worse the more horrible something will seem
the sooner you start to have some self belief and stand on your own two feet
the more easier you'll see the light at the end
your journey will seem shorter and much less hard
when days are bad you tell yourself its not so bad after all
when things don't go your way you tell yourself maybe this way was meant to be
life can be such a wonderful gift something so precious to miss
so don't waste days sulking around even if your hurting inside give the world a big smile and carry on.

sometimes you realise how much people that are there for you day in and day out are worth
you may not see it everyday,they may not tell you everyday
but you should never take somebody who truly cares for you for granted
once you loose someone special, you'll realise just how much they mattered
just how many smiles they put on your face and how many times they made you laugh
in a world like this its hard to find a replacement for the gems
once they leave we won't get a chance to say what we wished we had and do what we wished we did so there is no right time.. it's now or never
so hold on tight and don't be afraid to let them know they are appreciated.. :)
